Weight Watchers Recipe! Emily Bite's Balsamic Beef

For alot of people, Weight Watchers means cutting out x or cutting out y or limiting z.

I'm here to tell you - IT'S NOT!!

A few years ago - I was searching Pinterest for Weight Watchers Recipes that I thought that would be "Husband" approved - AKA "Sam" Approved and I stumbled across a website called Emily Bites .

Since Sam works a HARD 5AM to 4PM Job, I needed to find something that would fill him up when he was off work and BAM!! I found this recipe and the rest is history!

New Channel Name - Same Great Content

As you can see - New Name!

Due to alot of CRAZINESSS that has been happening in YouTube land - I need a fresh start - Not giving up the channel that I currently have, but changing the name and the direction of the channel.

From the BEGINNING, my plans were for it to be crafting, cooking, vacations and more - but it got stuck in this Disney/Crafting only universe and I couldn't find my way out.

THIS was the way out - a New Name.

The Day Where the Scale Was My Friend

So I am working on loosing weight - It is NOT the easiest thing in the world to do! Espcially when you don't have a working scare and are trying to guestimate your weight!

So I went with 305 as a starting weight, knowing it could be too high or too low - but it was a start.

Yesterday, we went to Walmart (Well Sam went in Walmart - I stayed in the truck) and I asked him to pick me up a sale.

This morning - it was the moment of truth!

I couldnt weigh mysef in my house becuase its all carpet and the floor is uneven - so Picture this - me in my PJ's going outside with a scale on my sidewalk - I kid you not!

IT WAS WORTH IT!!

I actually weighed in at 301.6! I will take it!!

Heres to healthy eating, walks with the hubby, and a goal of 250 by vacation!!

BOOM!!

I'm Really Bad a Blogging....

So I've learned something.

I'm REALLY BAD at Blogging!

I kinda forgot I was working on this!!

Last week was kinda Insane - I learned ALOT about people and their intentions towards me and my channel, and I really learned who my friends are. It was a sad week for me, but I am STRONG - I will rise above.

SO - last week was intersting to say the least.
I'm hoping that this week is SO MUCH BETTER!

Yesterday was Easter - it as a WERID DAY to say the least - typically we would be with family after Church Service. We streamed Church online and then Sam worked on making some homemade salsa and homemade pasta/pizza sauce.

I'm telling you - You could ward off Vampires with the smell of garlic that is STILL in my house! (Not that its a BAD smell, but serisouly? Over 24 hours later?? You would think it had disapiated!)

So another thing that has me sad is that my April and June trips are officially cancelled. I was running/walking my first 5K for the StarWars 5K in Memory of my Brother AND for Give Kids the World (I did raise my $100.00!!)

After some discusion and planning and CHANGES of plans, I have now made some (HOPEFULLY) final plans for a September trip - I will be going in Mid- September for the opening of HHN30 - I am VERY excited about this, but slighty sad that Sam will not be going with me - He won't be able to take off the time from work.

So - In Recap

I'm Bad at Blogging
I'm NOT goign to be in Disney this week - next week - or the week after

In the Pre-Planning Process - Getting Ready for September!

So with all of the COVID 19, my travel partner is unable to go on our September trip.

NEVER FEAR!! Lena is STILL going to Orlando!!!

After some discussion with Sam and pricing things out, I will be going to Universal Orlando for 10 Days about Mid September.

Generic Plans:

* Mid September
* 11 Days/10 Nights
* Cabana Bay Beach Resort
* 10 Day Universal Dinning Plan (NOTE: This is ONLY offered as part of a package! You can purchase the Quick Service without a package and even if you aren't staying on property)
* Frequent Fear Halloween Horror Nights Pass
* Scareactor Dinning (At LEAST One Time!)
* Paid Breakfast at both The Three Broomsticks & The Leaky Cauldron
* Character Meal in IOA
* Behind The Screams Lights On Tour - 6 Houses (This can currently only be booked through a vacation package but will come availbe for general public later on)
* POOL TIME!!
* Annual Passholder!!

I am really looking forward to this trip. Universal is NOT so GO GO GO like Walt Disney World is and in September, laying by the pool is 100% do-able! Cabana Bay also has its own Lazy River at the pool and that should be nice and relaxing!

Be watching for more vacaiton details coming at a later day!

This is all Causing Alot of Stress - Take a DEEP BREATH - Don't Say Something You Don't Mean

SO - FYI - If you are living under a rock - there is this COVID-19 going on in the world - and to be honest - it's driving everyone pretty nuts.

Along with the usual workplace stress, if you have been deemed "Essential" you now have a secondary stress: Will I bring it Home to my loved ones?

Here are a few tips to help relieve this stress.

#1 - Have a plan - While on a NORMAL day, if you come home, you may sit down, relax, eat, then jump in the shower. If you are Essential - maybe change up your routine - Try this: Come home - throw your clothes in the laundry / washer depending on your home (we have to either go to a laundrymat or to my parents to do laundry - our house doesn't have hookups) shower right away, and then spend time with your loved ones. This will take the stress away that you are carrying germs on your body or clothing.

#2 - Go on a walk. Something I remember from Sam's Active Duty Days was that when we were in WA State, they had everyone taking Vitamin D becuase there wasn't alot of sun and you need sun to flourish - like a flower. So take a family walk - remember to be 6ft away from any other family that is also out doing the same thing. You won't realize how much better you feel after you take a walk!

#3 - Just have some family time! Try to leave your fears at the door of your home - once you enter - take the precauations that you can and then try to relax! Grab out a puzzle, board game, etc...! Try to relax and enjoy the family time

We are all under stress - something small may spiral out of control becuase of it.

For Example: Sam asked me what was for dinner tonight - I said that when he got off work he could grab a PF CHangs dinner out of the freezer and I would it (We have several and I didn't know which one would sound best) - he then got upset and asked why I coudlnt' get it - I reponded that I COULD I just didn't know which one would appeal to him - and we were OFF to the races! It snowballed and commenced an argument over messenger - we both had to step away - #1 becuase we both needed to get back to the things we were doing; he needed to get back to work and I needed to get back to housework - but #2 is that we didn't want to say something out of stress that we really didn't mean. It's the same theory as saying something out of anger - you need to take a step back and look at the situation.

As things are only getting started here in Kansas - I know we have a long way to go with more stressfull moments to come - I know that it's going to happen - it just is and I have to be able to roll with them.

But when in doubt - Say I'm Sorry - and never go to bed angry or with a misunderstanding inbetween - whether its a spouse, child, friend, neighbor, family member, etc...
